Prof. Elad Maor MD, PhD
Associate Professor of Cardiology, Interventional Cardiologist at The Olga & Lev Leviev Heart Center
The Israeli Heart Society scholarship allowed to complete two years of clinical fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. In these years I focused on state-of-the-art clinical training in interventional cardiology, co-authored 25 papers in collaboration with Mayo faculty and was appointed assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. The fellowship was the highlight of my career, allowed me to establish myself as a staff cardiologist at Sheba Medical Center, and was critical for my appointment as Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University at the age of 42. I would like to thank the Israeli Heat Society, the scholarship committee and specifically to Dr. Amir and Lilach Lerman for their kind and warm hospitality during my stay in Rochester with my family.
