I am honored to be one of the recipients of the Israeli heart society scholarship for advanced heart failure fellowship at Mayo clinic. With the clinical knowledge and experience that I gained from the Fellowship, toady I am one of the key figures in our group to develop the advanced heart failure service and to start a ventricular assist device (VAD) programme at my institution in Israel. Moreover, the fellowship enabled me to be involved and to lead research projects in the same field at Mayo clinic.
